If I am in a round robin group and default a match , does it count as a loss for USATT ratings?

I start a match . play a few points but default due to a legitimate injury.

Fromm what I remember seeing , I think MLTT developed Spindex rating system for its pro matches
Then they made it available to amateur tournaments they run
