Why the ITTF does not want you to know about High Aspect Ratio Super Long Pips ?

Highly technical & extremely controversial topics. Not for the faint of heart

Why the ITTF does not want you to know about High Aspect Ratio Super Long Pips ?

Post by Gisele »

Because ITTF wants to severelly limit the rubbers used by (long) pips players.
Why do they want to do that ? Because 70% the table-tennis players (current players and former players who sit on all the committees & councils of the ITTF) consider the pips and anti players as a nuisance that needs to be tolerated but keep the capabilities of pips & anti players severely limited.

Ideally ITTF would like to get rid of all pips and anti players for good but they do not want to do that because they do not want pips and anti players formaing their own association resulting in dilution and loss of control & loss of revenue for ITTF.

Most spin(e)less cowards (long pips / anti players) and honorary loopers (short pips choppers) will never understand this & so ITTF can continue doing this forever with zero percussions

ITTF passed 7 rules & regulations since 1983 to severely limit the capabilities of pips & anti players and to mostly allow top spin oriented play in table tennis. Why on earth do you think they wil suddenly go back and wipe out those chanegs and allow choppers to return and torture the loopers ?
