2023 Texas Senior Games - Table Tennis Question

Post by Joseph w »

I am sort of confused about senior games in Texas.
I thought oof numbered years like 2023 is not a state qualifying games year but only national games year
So why do they have Texas games in 2023 ?
Can I I qualify for National Senior Games in Pittsburgh if I play in this event on April 1 for tabletennis in San Antonio

I am sort of confused

Most State Games are held every year.
However only state games held in even years such as 2024 are for qualifying for National Games held in odd years , such as the next one in Des Moines, Iowa in 2025

2023 is not a qualifying year from statae games because National Games were held in 2023 in Pittsburgh
