Stop donating your money to European & Japanese rubber & blade manufacturers

This applies to only amateurs because if you are pro player , you are probably getting free rubbers & blades from your sponsor.

So if you are an amateur player, unless you want to subsidize & support pro players, please stop wasting your money on expensive European & Japanese blades and rubbers. The Japanese & European products definitely have higher quality no doubt but Chinese products caught up in the last 20 or so years. So amateur player does not need them.

In fact for technique challenged amateurs like myself, European & Japanese blades and rubbers may not even be the best at all. Chinese inverted rubbers have lot more spin than European & Japanese rubbers unless you spoost or spin glue, which is not approved by ITTF Rule 2.4.7 & also illegal under common law.
If you are using short or medium pips , there are enough lower priced Chinese rubbers

If you are using long pips, of course all low length low aspect ratio "long by definition only" pips on ITTF LARC are useless dysfunctional social crap rubbers in the 40+ plastic ball ONLY era. More & more functionally superior high aspect ratio highly durable super long pips are now becoming increasingly available out of China & Indonesia (& Korea is catching up) while European & Japanese manufacturers continue to worship the robotNazi controlled ITTF & continue to make useless low length low aspect ratio pips.

Personally I TOTALLY understand & would like to see more competition for Chinese products in general & international regualtion for fair competition & all that political stuff & but I do not see something overly offensive so that I would boycott Chinese products

So unless you have so much money & are so vain & want to be pretentious & look cool using European & Japanese blades and rubbers just becaus eyour favorite pro uses it, why not donate your money to some charitable causes instead & use real functional rubbers for heaven's sake.
