As the title states, I'm looking for a purple long pip rubber with sponge, which my cousin, @kaist, will use for his next racket.

@kaist wants to be a chopper and likes the color purple, so right now I'm looking for equipment which ticks both checkboxes. Does anyone know about such a rubber? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

How does color matter for table tennis rubber functionality ?
You are not choosing some clothing for a social function

Is your cousin a pro or semi-pro player ?
If not sponge is out. OX is the ONLY best rubber for chopping for amateurs

How does he know he qualifies to be a chopper ?
Does he have the physical skills & body style / build etc to pull it off

Everyone fantasizes of being a chopper & fail & go back to bad mouthing long pips

Also , there are no "long pips" in ITTF's version of Olympic table tennis. IOC does not welcome choppers
All the pips listed on ITTF LARC are useless dysfunctional crap after the (click link >) 14 rule and regulation changes since 1977 by the ITTF to severely limit the choppers in the current 40+ mm plastic ball only era

The rubber that comes closest to a chopping long pips for the 40+ mm plastic ball ONLY era is Magic 77 but it comes only in Red & Black
If you are in Philippines you should be able to find some Indonesian real long pips.
I have not tested them but based on available data I would recommend testing OX versions of JAHANAM RAWARONTEXX and JAHANAM SABOTASE

BTW they may also be available in pink or violet (Ther is no purple top sheet per se)

Absolutely do NOT use the crappy slim pips deceptively listed as LONG on ITTF LARC
