Re: Victas 2025-2026 Catlaogue English
Don't buy Victas
It is overpriced crap.
As a chopper I would not touch Victas rubbers with a 10 foot pole because Koji Matsushita (president of Victas) & Han Ying are traitors
When the Durban Aspect Ratio Reduction chopper massacre 2 happened in 1998 , Koji Matsushita was going around telling everyone that people in should be using wide pips . ( Contrast this with Matthew Syed , who directly confronted Scholer)
Truly disgusting many ways.
1. First of all it is really sick to tell choppers to switch to wide pips even if it was justified at a time when they are being summarily executed (speaking figuratively....as in massacre) . During this regulation change about 15 top choppers including two at the top 10 (Li Gun Sang & Chen Xinhua) were using Feint Long (classic) which was the collateral damage . In comparison only about 7 choppers were executed at the 1977 Birmingham chopper massacre 1 (ban on all long pips). And how many newbie choppers even know TSP (now Victas) Curl P1 was the primary officially stated reason for the passing of the Durban Massacre 1998
2. I am not even sure if either Koji Matsushita or Han Ying understand how wide pips work for chopping compared to slim pips or long pips or the very original intended purpose of arrival long pips in the sport of table tennis in late 60s before long pips were was banned at the 1977 Birmingham BGM > and NO wide pips CANNOT manipulate spin better than actual long pips or even useless slim pips on ITTF LARC. Manufacturers like Victas make moronic claims that wide pips can be chopping rubbers in the hands of clueless amateurs , just to sell more rubber.
