Are pimples & pips the same ?

Post by Baranwalia »

Pips (American usage), Pimples (British usage) , knobs (German usage), spike, nubs all mean the same thing.
For some unknown reason, many Chinese refer to pips as something else by combining pips & pimples & that is a banned word is most forums

Then again Chinese & other Far Easteners like Korean & Japanese, though they are the best at it, incorrectly refer to table-tennis as ping pong , which in fact may be illegal & punishable by death in some countries since ping pong is a trademarked phrase by Parker Brothers.

Former ITTF President Lollo Hammerlund of Sweden hated the phrase ping pong as well
