Is there some sort of secret unofficial classification of rubbers taht very few palyers outside the ITTF executives are aware of ?

Yes this is a well kept secret
But here are the classifications :-

1. Master Race Rubbers :- These are the spinny inverted (and heavily boosted illegally) rubbers used by robotNazis
2. social rubbers :- These are the anti rubbers & backhand short pips rubbers used by honorary loopers
3. Anti-social rubbers :- These are the long pips rubbers used by the defenders (spineless cowards)
