Playing your best (using wrong equipment) is not equal to playing upto your potential

Lots of players, especially robotNazis confuse playing their best using rubbers & blades totally wrong for their own playing style with playing upto their potential using the right rubbers & blades for their own playing style. This is especially true in the case of backhand because
1. Most players do not understand (or more like in denial) the concept of strongside and weakside in racket sport
2. Most players do not realize (aagin or in a state of denial) table tennis is more of a forehand dominant sport (for most humans) than most other racket sports

Being in a state of denial for most amateurs comes subconsicous & stubborn belief that their backhand is just as good as a pro (using spinverted rubbers) & almost in all cases this is wrong. Even worse is using social rubbers to compensate for this

These robotNazis usually use spinverted rubbers in the social mode on their weakside (usually backhand) . This is because they believe that they can use spinverted (spinny inverted) rubbers just as well as a professional player, especially their idol such as Ma Long (backhand spinverrted)or Mima Ito (backhand hitting short pips) or Hou Yingchao (backhand chopping short pips) etc
But the simple fact is that almost all of these robotNazis don't have what it takes to be able to use spinverted rubbers in the functional mode on the backhand like most professionals can. Most of these plyers do not even know how to loop on their backhand, let alone anywhere close to being as good with looping.
So even if these players are using spinverted as best as they can that still does not mean they are playing upto their maximum potential as measured by their performance in a league or tournament situation. These players should be using super pips on their backhand.
