Guys know any shakehand short pips players to watch?
On shakehand side I can only think of Johnny Huang of Canada (born in China) other than current Mattias Falck
And Johnny Huang was probably the only high level two winged shakehand short pips player in history.
This goes to show the limited scope short pips even for forehand . Only works for most talented players.
Only exception are older players who never learned to loop from their youth or have or have developed physical limiattions to loop.
These players MUST use only short pips on forehand & super long pips on backhand.
For these players spinverted rubbers are social rubbers on forehand & short pips are social rubbers on their backhand
