What are the events & format for table tennis at Paris Olympics ?
Is there going to be table tennis ?
I heard rumors that table tennis maybe suspended pending expulsion.
Is that true ?

It says at the bottom of above page
Any qualified athletes in Mixed Doubles must be part of the team composision if their NOC has qualified a team of that gender
This means that Lin Gaoyuan & Wang Yidi will also be part of Chinese team in the Teams event
So that leaves only 2 spots .
These 2 team spots go to 2 singles players (maximum allowed for singles per country is 2) who qualified with highest rank on June 2024 ranking list
Which means Ma Long is most likely out as he is trailing way behind Wanh Chuqin
Wang Manyu has a small chance to pass Chen Meng to make the team if she moves up from #3 to #2 in ranking list

I guess he is going to Paris 2024 after this despite saying Tokyo 2020 could be his last back in 3/2021.
Correct me if I am wrong but are you sure Ma Long will qualify for Paris 2024 ?
One team spot is aleady taken by Lin Gaoyuab via Mixed Doubles,
So now only 2 singles spots are left & those 2 singles players have to play Teams also because there is a total limit of 3 players per country acrosss all events .
So unless Ma Long moves up to #1 & #2 or China decides to hold back Fan Zhendong or Wang Chuqin in singles to move Ma Long up to #1 or #2 , Ma Long won't make it. Because I am not sure if China wants to play only Ma Long, Lin Gaoyuan & either Fan Zhendong or Wang Chuqin in teams (only one of the two but they cannot play both if Ma Long & Lin Gayuan are already chosen).

The dilemma for CNT now:
Should we send ML the WTT, or LJK the MD/XD black hole?
Should we send ML the WTT
LJK the MD/XD black hole
Zeio,
What the hell do these two sentences mean ?
Are you translating your posts from your language into English ?
Most of your posts are like this & make no sense at all (possibly because of bad translation)
First of all, stop using acronyms regardless. It indicates poor communication skills in a public forum
Who the hell are ML & LJK ? Are they your second cousins ?
Forums are not teenage chat rooms on cell phones where they use tons of acronyms fro cimmunicating in a hurry.
That is not needed in a forum. You can take your time to post a coherent reply
Posters need to understand the difference between a forum & a chat room
I can understand stabdard acronyms for stuff like WTT or ITTF pr LP or SP or MP or HD or XD etc but using acronyms for players gets too confusing expecially because mant newbies may not know who they are. Persoanlly I would explain what th acronym means in the fist ouurance of the phrase like XD (Mixed Doubles) and then just say XD for further references to the same acrony, XD etc & taht is the standard used fro communiating using acronyms in all non chat room situations
Anyway you may be wrong about Ma Long & Liang Jing Kun qualifying for Olympics (if that is what you were trying to say)
You may want to read the rest of this thread here (especially the post by Rathga ) to understand why Ma Long & Liang Jing Kun may not qualify

You may be correct because , at the bottom of
this webpage , it says the following
* Any qualified athletes in Mixed Doubles must be part of the team composision if their NOC has qualified a team of that gender.
* Maximum of one (1) pair per NOC can participate.

I see it now because Lin Gaoyan has already qualified for Mixed Doubles
Lin Gaoyan MUST therefore be a part of team event as well.
This only leaves 2 openings of total 3 maximum allowed (not considering the alternates) for team event
And I doubt those two won't be Fan Zhendong & Wang Chuqin , who will be playing in singles event (I don't mean the singles part of the team event, which I think will be the same 2 though, unless they switch Lin Gaoyan for some ties for better matchups) , unless CTTA wants to replace either one of these two with Liang Jing Kun for singles event

Happened very recently
See attachment below
Why did Lin Gaoyuan & Wang Yidi decline ?
Usually China does not care much about Mixed Doubles & this slot will go to highest on the WR list

You left out in the attachment the important part, where it say sat the very bottom
