Your usage may vary.
For 90% of humans backhand is usually the weaker side or a different side in terms of strength of style such as chopping or looping or blocking or flat hitting etc.
In your case you did make the right choice by choosing long pips for your backhand.
Of course you can twiddle and improve yoru overall effectiveness
