I have seen women play in Open singles and win the whole thing.

But that is different from a closed state (or city or county or national etc) championships.
I was loonking at the flyer for 2025 Texas State Championships

It says the Prize Money for Men's Singles is $500 but for Womne it is $200.

Just wondering if this was legal under state / fedreal lawa and or USATT byelaws if any.

Regardless, should women just boycott this event ? Why are all these women signed up ?
