Twiddling penholder
Blade : Rutis J (3 wood + 2 G carbon, Nittaku)
Side 1 : Tenergy 64 (extra thick, Butterfly)
Side 2 : Anti-Power (medium, Yasaka)
LOL it is almost like a dumb racket with almost same rubber both sides
If Tenergy 64 is not spein glued or boosted it is almost like an anti spin rubber
Yasaka Anti Power is not a frictionless anti.
So the two rubbers are the same with minimum spin contrast.
He would be much better off using a smart blade with composite on Tenergy side only and using an OX slim or long pips.
Or worst case he should be using at least a frictionless anti like Dr.Neubauer ABS 3
Actually I know a 70+ Chinese penholder who uses the exact same combo. Advanced player.
I have no problem with him but mostly because I know how to play twiddlers but in his case the twiddling is mostly useless.
I give a heavy chop or heavy top spin with my inverted at wide angles. He either puts it into net with his anti or pops it up with his Tenergy. Easy kill for me.
I talked to him but he is so used to it all his life and does not want to try or EJ new stuff.
I suspect Sugini is probably the same way.
