I was just wondering why any regular manufacturers make blade for choppers in the 40+ plastic ball ONLY era

Market is too small.
Choppers have been largely exterminated after (click link >) 14 rule and regulation changes since 1977 to limit chopper blades and rubbers.

The problem already started with the 40- celluloid ball in 2000 not with the 40+ plastic ball in 2014
Choppers are too damn ignorant and clueless about the history of oppression against the choppers since 1977.
You can't fix stupid. If they do not know what exactly is happening they can be easily brainwashed and manipulated into believing that ITTF knows what is good for choppers & ITTF cares about choppers & diversity in the sport

Even custom blade makers told me that making large blades at least 170 mm by 170 mm is a nuisance.
Another problem is designing a smart blade with defensive side with good isolation from attack side with right core mid layer.
It is possible but is not easy

Blades like Matsushita or Joo SaeHyuk are a complete joke.
Manufacturers shamelessly lie and call them oversized blades
They are only around 165 mm
At the table blockers can use 165 mm blades but crap like this is not useful even for them because these are dumb blades with layer composition same on both sides
