So im playing with Viscaria for most of my time. Enjoy it and feel I can control it pretty well.
I am curious about trying to set up a all wood blade just for fun to see how my game would change. I use Dignics 05 both sides. Would use that as well on the all wood blade.
If I look for an all wood that is plenty fast. But light. Easy to control etc. What are some of the BEST all wood blades out there?
If you had to make a list of top 3? And why?
Josh ,
Any dumb blade like Viscaria is useless for almost all amateurs & even pros like Manika Batra
Worse, you are using dumbest of dumb rackets > identical rubber both sides
You need to understand that human forehand is not equal to human backhand for almost all humans especially amateurs
Start using smart baldes
Take a look at various topics in this forum such as

All wood blades may work for some pros but not all pros
I always start newbies with composite smart blades because they can experience both composite side and wood side also experience and enjoy creating and solving all spins instead of just top spins from the start
This is also the best coaching model used for most TT academies in India especially for girls now.

Composite side gives much better control due to enlarged sweet spot.
Feel while is important for pros is way overrated for amateurs , because most amateurs will never achieve the same level of fell and control like the pros (that is why they are amateurs..... duh
