Hi, everyone,

I would like to know your opinions regarding the following problem.
A few weeks ago I played against an opponent who used long pimples on his backhand. This long pimples, which I know very well because several of my training partners use it, is the DrNeubauer Fighter. The problem is that I didn't recognize the disruptive effects of this long pimples. I couldn't control my opponent's game because his effects were so unpredictable. ?
Classic (click link >) robotNazi behavior . It is always the opponent who is at fault
alain61 wrote:Thursday, January 8 at at 9:44 AM #1
Several other players have told me
You mean several other robotNazis LOL
alain61 wrote:Thursday, January 8 at at 9:44 AM #1
the specifications of this long pimples rubber have been modified in a way that violates ITTF rules.
You are right. This is were it starts to get very ambiguous
Because the question becomes
Are you playing in ITTF's top spin only Olympic table tennis ?
or
Are you playing in non-ITTF all spins diversity table tennis ?

Because in case you did not know , neither IOC nor ITTF nor Belgian TT federation are sole subpreme authorities for table tennis
IOC & ITTF etc control top spin only Olympic table tennis but not non-ITTF all spins diversity table tennis

I do not know about Belgium & Europe but there are lots of non-ITTF tournaments worldwide in places like China , USA , Indonesia
From my years of experience in the sport, Europeans are the MOST brainwashed into thinking that ITTF's top spin only Olympic table tennis is the ONE & ONLY proper version of table tennis

According to some other players (who provide no concrete evidence), it might even be possible to buy a long pimples rubber that has already been modified by the supplier. Is this possible? ?
Yes lots of such treated rubbers are available from China
alain61 wrote:Thursday, January 8 at at 9:44 AM #1
Have you ever encountered this problem?
This is a problem only in your mind
alain61 wrote:Thursday, January 8 at at 9:44 AM #1
In other words, is it technically possible to verify the validity of a long pimples even if it is on the official ITTF list?
Yes it is possible.
But how & where ?
Do you have all the needed tools ?
What is your end strategy here ?
Are you going to refuse teo play them completely if the are using non-treated pips ?
Don't mistake me. I do not support treated pips though there exist only about one treated player for every 200 or booster cheats.
But two wrongs don;s make it a right and I think treated pips players must buy and use non-ITTF pips instead which have the same (disruption) effect. Such non-ITTF pips are available from China & Indonesia . This way you are not giving any excuses to booster cheats to blame you, which they will never stop doing anyway though LOL

It's very easy to know, test for friction with a ball: if ball rotates have friction so is legal if not it's treated,
LOL I don't think so
Because how do you measure friction if COF is higher than 0.5 per ITTF regulation (not a rule) ?
Also the concern of this paranoid poster alain61 is not just about friction but about disruption
Friction can be a contributing parameter but there are click link > 17 or so other parameters that control pip behavior

Also you can measure the lenght to be sure is legal.
It is OK to use the word "legal" for other situations as such as for illegal serves etc
But use of the word "legal" must be avoided in the context of rubbers & blades etc.
Because the ONLY (common law) illegal rubbers in table tennis are boosted or spein glued rubbers
The correct word for all other rubbers is ITTF approved, de-approved or unapproved
Non-ITTF rubbers can be either ITTF de-approved or ITTF unapproved but they are both perfectly approved for use at all non-ITTF tournaments, leagues, club sessions etc.

As you correctly pointed out in a later post , most double inverted players in ITTF's top spin only Olympic table tennis are cheats using common law illegal boosters or spein glues

I must admit that you are right.
Well in all fairness not all but very close to may be two-thirds of (click link >) robotNazis

But at pro level it is probably 90%

Please also note that pips players have no obligation to allow a robot Nazi to perform all these Mengele experiments on their pips at a tournament.
Because when the rules says an opponent can examine a pips players rubber, it only allows visual inspection by the opponent or the umpire.
The examination is limited strictly to a visual examination of the rubber such as for the ittf approval code
The pips player ,if he or she has any sense should not allow opponents' or umpires disgusting unwashed fingers after a toilet visit to touch their pips.

In fact a player has no obligation to present their racket even for visual inspection by opponent or umpire if the following condition are not met.
1. Chemical inspection such as portable chromatograph must be present at the tournament
2. All rackets of all players in all events of a given tournament are chemically inspected. Because you cannot just check few players since the performance measurements such as ratings can get severely skewed in favor of robotNazis if each match counts for ratings ( Of course also keep in mind however that the PRIMARY reason for chemical inspection is not performance............it is the health. And not just the health of chemical abuser but also the dangerous second hand effects on opponents, other players, officials, spectators and especially children & pregnant women.......not according to me but according to statement documented by Rev. Larry Hodges in USATT magazine by former ITTF Equipment Committee Chairman Late Dr. Rufford Harrison)

Note to alain61 > I changed the topic title to refer to slim & long pips
Because there are no long pips in ITTF's top spin only Olympic table tennis
ITTF banned all long pips at the Birmingham 1977 BGM but ITTF continues to deceptively call slim pips as long pips to brainwash the ignorant pips players, especially the chopper fools.
More information on this at webpage below
No long pips in ITTF table tennis

I do not think so. Like Andreas Levenko discovered when he played and lost to Chulong Nie, it was perfectly legal according to WTT. But Andreas knew it was tampered with at some point, "THIS RUBBER IS NOT CORRECT"
HELLO !!!
The following facts have been well established
1. Andreas Levenko was a big time drama queen in that match just to disrupt Chulong Nie . But Chulong Nie demonstrated maturity beyond his years by keeping his oocl.
2. Whatever "problems" that Andreas Levenko perceived could have been from Chulong Nie using a unique custom blade that enhanced the so called disruption of the rubber that Chulong Nie was using.

For me it's the same to treat the LP that booster the inverted rubbers.

If you want to play ITTF tournaments everybody without exceptions must follow the rules or don't play ITTF tournaments and use like you want.

Also ITTF rules that can't be controled and here is when I complaint about rules that can't be enforced like booster control and on the opposite side is very easy check LP frictionless also I don't like and disagree that always everybody when see you use LP and wins thinks you are cheating, only really double inverted smart and old people understand how dificult is to play high level using LP and from this people I received congrats not for using LP but for how I use the LP, so when you play against people that thinks is easy to win using LP have no idea of table tennis.

For sure are more % booster users than treated LP and not only pro level.

This is how the robotNazi controlled ITTF cleverly brainwashes even experienced players like you.
But don't feel bad because I was brainwashed 4 times in different ways by ITTF in my 50 years in the sport.
Though I have noone to blame including the ITTF or IOC because I only have my own stupidity to blame to be brainwashed over and over

Anyway this is the issue.
I agree with you that using treated pips is also wrong just like boosting and spein gluing.
However there is a HUGE difference
Treated pips is only ITTF unapproved (due to performance reasons NOT health reasons) . It is NOT common law illegal.
But when ITTF first tried to ban spein gluing & then boosters , the original initially intended reason was NOT performance it was ONLY common law illegality due to potential first and second hand effects upon the health of player himself, opponents, officials, spectators, families especially children & pregnant women. Of course the player who abuses chemicals also gains a huge performance advantage but that is only the secondary issue.
But the robotNazis controlled ITTF wants everyone especially the IOC to think there are no health issues and just performance issues.

So in summary treated pips are only a performance issue & only ITTF unapproved but not common law illegal
But spein gluing and boosting is primarily a health issue & common law illegal and only secondarily a performance issue and also ITTF unapproved.

I don't intend to change my anti. I've heard about a rubber I'm not familiar with and I'm interested in its specific features. Simply out of curiosity. Mine satisfies me perfectly.
This is pretty hilarious because alain61 is a (click link >) honorary looper (uses anti)
But he is blaming someone else's pips
In table tennis it is always the matter of "my racket is holier than your racket" and so your rubber should be banned :D

Yes I agree completely about you said, NO HEALTH REASON TO BAN THE LONG PIPS. Also as said before the ban comes for the war between Neubauer and Scholer and we pay the result...
