Ayhika Mukherjee's epic win over world No. 1 Sun Yingsha using anti rubber on her backhand inspired me to dive into the history of this fascinating equipment.
Ayhika Mukherjee has not fotced any rules changes .......YET
It was mostly Cai Zhenhua , Eric Boggan, John Hilton & Danny Seemiller that forced the rule change in 1983 & then 1985
But Ayhika Mukherjee , Sabine Winter & Luka Mladenovic could force an ITTF regulation change (not rule change) because there is no minimum required COF (Coefficient of friction) for anti rubbers but there is a minimum required limit of 0.5 for any pips rubber (this includes wide pips not just slim or long pips)
This is the loophole that KenKen is talking about

If you want to know how anti rubber forced the ITTF to change the rules
There had been no rule changes after 1985 related to anti rubbers

and how it evolved over the last 50 years
Anti has evolved to frictionless antis from frictioned anti after the frictionless pips ban of 2008.
KenKen is correct Dr.Neubauer exploited this frictionless pips ban brilliantly to start making frictionless antis.
The loophole is that there is no minimum required friction limit for anti rubbers but there is a minimum required COF limit of 0.5 for any pips rubber after 2008 frictionless pips ban.
However there had been no players as successful with frictionless antis until recently like Ayhika Mukherjee and Luka Mladenovic and now Sabine Winter (Amelie Solja was more successful with slim pips (ika long pips) before 2008 . She switched to Anti but was not as successful and actually left Germany to play for Austria because unofficially (but of course will never admit to it) Germany does not approve any smart rubbers (anti & pips)

So now because of the success of these 3 players (Ayhika, Luka & Sabine) robotNazis are whining as usual & want to limit antis............AGAIN just like they did to (Cai Zhenhua, Eric Boggan, John Hilton & Danny Seemiller) & they want ITTF to set a minimum limit for antis like pips as well. :D

Dear KenKen,
There was no update related to anti in 2021 as your video states misleadingly.
The 2021 rule 2.4.6 change was about approving additional 4 colors for all rubbers not just anti

You need to correct your picture shown below in your video
