It never ceases to amaze me how a supposed self-proclaimed very high level coach in the domain of ITTF's top spin only Olympic version of table tennis can be so clueless about the world of all spins table tennis.Larry Hodges wrote:I'm still experimenting between frictionless antispin and long pips ox on my backhand. With the latter, I've run into a major problem. Because the surface is so thin compared to the Tenergy 2.1 I normally use on the backhand, it affects my grip dramatically. I'm fine on the backhand, but it kills my forehand. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I tried cutting off the bottom part and gluing Tenergy at the bottom for the grip, but it came off pretty messy and ruined the long pips, so I'm hesitant to try that again.
