If I am not mistaken , the last ITTF sanctioned US Open was in 2019 won my Kanak Jha & Lilly Zhang

As far as I know , the only tournaments that are officially ITTF sanctioned are the tournaments listed at the webpage below

I do not see US Open 2026 listed there

There are certain requirements that need to be met by USATT before ITTF approves it
Sometimes USATT passes and chooses to run it non-sanctioned
In all fairness to both parties some ITTF requirements do not make sense
