is an exceptional defensive stick (DEF) made entirely of Taiwanese wood.
It was specifically designed to master the extreme balancing act required of modern defenders ("choppers"):
maximum ball control and extreme backspin generation in defense, coupled with high stability during sudden counterattacks.
Wood Construction & Material Properties: The stick completely forgoes carbon or synthetic fibers to guarantee a maximally soft ball feel and extended dwell time.
Outer Ply: Formosan Koa (相思木 – Acacia wood).
Specification: Selected, figured acacia wood that has been naturally air-dried for over 30 years (density approx. 0.9–1.0 g/cm³).
Effect: It is very hard, yet elastic.
This allows the wood to "grip" the ball perfectly during pushes and scythes, enabling extreme spin changes.
Middle Layer: Melia / Neem wood (Year)
Specification: Air-dried for over 5 years (density approx. 0.4 g/cm³).
Effect: Provides the necessary basic stability and gives the racket the necessary catapult
effect for offensive counter-topspins. Core Ply: Emperor Fir (Year)
Specification: Wood with few annual rings, stored for over 3 years (density approx. 0.4 g/cm³).
Effect: Massively increases the deformation (flexibility) of the racket face at impact, maximizing ball control.
Playing Characteristics: In tests (including on platforms like World Rubber Market), the Classic Chopper is described as an all-round defensive blade.
It harmonizes excellently with grippy long pimples on the backhand.
While purely defensive blades often seem too "dead" when you want to attack actively, the combination of tough acacia outer wood and elastic core ensures that counterattacks develop a surprising amount of speed and spin.
Technical specifications
: Blade thickness: Ultra-thin 5.2 mm (optimal for maximum ball feedback and flexibility).
Blade size: 165 × 155 mm (typically enlarged defensive format for a larger optimal contact point/sweet spot).

This blade with a 165 mm by 155 mm blade may have been useful in the 38 mm ball era
But it would be a complete joke as an (away from the table) classic chopper blade in the 40+ mm plastic ball only era
Sorry
