Don't feel bad. I was also brainwashed by the ITTF just like you.
Until a few years ago I also believed that everyone should start in tabletennis with a dumb racket

But the Indian girls & women set me straight.

I still wish you a long life & if you are still playing it is not too late to repent & correct yourself both for your individual self but more importantly not ruining the table tennis life of youth by giving nonsense advice and ask everyone (especially young girls) to blindly start in table tennis using dumb rackets

OMG , How do you even know she can be a double inverted looper ? Have you seen her loop on the backhand at all , let alone with consistency & power & variations ?
