Is green a legal rubber colour ?

Post by Greg 783 »

I am not a serious tournament player.
But I was curious to know if rubber on a bat can be green color.
I was told it has to be red only or black only

Until sometime in 2021 , the only rubber colors allowed in offcial tournaments were red & black

After that four more rubber colors are now allowed green, blue, violet and purple(pink)

I read in some other forum that green and black are the worst combinations for a color blind person to see. So I do not know why ITTF makes it legal

Do they plan on releasing new colors anytime soon.
