388d
LOL
Dawei 388-D came before 388D-1 during the 38 mm ball era.
This is a very frictionless long pips and was good for blockers & not choppers during the 38 mm ball era.
I have tested 388D & D1 extensively

388D-1 was released with a little more friction by making the pip tops slightly rougher to give a little more back spin but 388d-1 could be a decent all round rubber in the 40+ plastic ball era if used with a thicker sponge. The aspect ratio of 388 d & d-1 are not as high as Feint long 3 I think and this results in lesser back spin for choppers

I do not know how good or bad 388 D-2 is as I have not tried it. But I suspect it is also garbage social dysfunctional rubber just like all other long pips on ITTF LARC.
