Yes, you both share the same WRONG opinion LOLHaggisV wrote: on Tuesdday 12 Nov 2024, 11:43Yes I share that opinion...don't really understand this.ChasFox wrote:
In theory her Back Hand might benefit from using a blade blade with softer carbon/outer plies such as the innerforce or maybe Bol ZLF rather than the pingy Viscaria or Timo Bol ALC,
To start with , I can understand clueless newbies assuming that top pros use the same production blades and rubber that a beginer schmuck uses
But I cannot understand HaggisV & ChasFox being so clueless also.
None of use really know what exactly Manika Batra is using. Yhe blade may say Butterfly Viscaria but for all we know it may not even be Butterfly but maybe Butterfly paid Manika to have the Butterfky Visacria logo on the blade.
Secondly , there is a whole section in this ioctt.com forum about all the Pro Players who are probably using wrong rubbers or blades

It is a well known fact by now that all Indian women are using wrong blades. I have read post here an year ago as to how a symmetric blade with same layer composition both sides (and with any non wood layer as last but one outer layer) is TOTALLY useless for players like Manika Batra, Sreeja Akula, Yashaswini Ghorpade, Ayhika MUkherjee etc. They need a blade with asymmetric layer composition with only all wood on slim pips or anti side & with a thick core (probably balsa because it is light) to isolate the composite layer forehand side from backhand side.
