ITTF LARC 2025 January
Is this a mistake ?
If I go by above webpage I have to say aby & all pips out rubbers (wide (stiff) pips or slim pips) that come in OX version are banned as of this day
This includes Feint Long 2 OX, Feint Lomg 3 OX , TSP Curl P1v Ox, Victas Curl P1v OX . Tibhar Grass Dtec OX etc

Re: Did ITTF just ban Hardbat & all OX pips rubbers ?
I would tend to think this a huge mistake
Because there are many other mistakes on this webpage
For example, most rubbers do not show sponge colors
Also the webpage says it is valid till end of the current year.
I thought LARC was released by ITTF every 3 months

The "Expires on" column values also do not match
The web version shows some dates as to when some rubbers will expire
But the XLSX & PDF files do not show this information
I wonder if this is by design

I can only assume that ITTF is woeking on completing this document.
But my opinion is that they should not be showing blank celss as this can cause widesprerad panic
Because all ITTF umpires & referees are duty bound by this LARC document starting today January 1, 2025 , to prevent players from using hardbat or any other OX pips of any type , unless all this is just a bad dream
Since strictly speaking, all OX pips rubbers are banned from all ITTF sanctioned tournaments according to this document

Re: Did ITTF just ban Hardbat & all OX pips rubbers ?
Is this even legal though ?
What ITTF regulation or rule was changed and when ?
Was there a recent EGM held recently to pass these changes just like they did secretly with the Durban 1998 Aspect Ratio Reduction Regulation ?
Bexcause I did not see any proposals made at the last AGM 2024
Unless the equipment committee has been give the authority to change stuff like this.
If so I am curious to see where it says that in ITTF Handbook or some other official ITTF documents

Re: Did ITTF just ban Hardbat & all OX pips rubbers ?
Only OX rubber that is allowed is Feint OX (NOT Feint Long 2 or 3) but then it also says OX version of Feint OX is not allowed LOL

Looks like the current ITTF Equipment Committee is a clown show.
Then again the Equipment Commiittee had always been a collection of crooks anyway with massive conflicts of interests

Calm down people, the ITTF hasn't banned ox pimples. This is all just wild speculation and conflagration. Keep an eye on the LARC and you will see the inevitable update. Nothing to see here, move along!

Re: Did ITTF just ban Hardbat & all OX pips rubbers ?
According to the latest ITTF LARC of January 1, 2025, you are incorrect.Troll_poster wrote: ↑January 2nd, 2025, 4:52 pm Calm down people, the ITTF hasn't banned ox pimples.
I do not see asingle OX pips in the entire LARC list that is marked as "OX version available"
If I am mistaken , pelase feel free to post which RXACT OX rubbers are marked s OX version avaibale YEa & I will apologize
So the entire LARC is speculation ? REALLY ??Troll_poster wrote: ↑January 2nd, 2025, 4:52 pm This is all just wild speculation and conflagration.
LARC has always been updated correctly on January 1, April 1 , July1 & October 1 of each year.Troll_poster wrote: ↑January 2nd, 2025, 4:52 pm Keep an eye on the LARC and you will see the inevitable update.
Are you saying that the update of January 1, 2025 is wild speculation and a just a joke ?
What are the umpires & referees sopposed to do ?
Respect & enforce the LARC or just ignore it just because you say so ? On what authority do you make this bold claim & demand ?
OK let us assume you are indeed the authority.
May I ask when the LARC will be updated with correct data ?
Is the ITTF updating the LARC at random dates now ?
Are you serious ?
Banning hardbat & other OX pips is just a big joke to you ?

You do realise this will make you look foolish right? We both know there is no ban. You just like stirring up trouble and trolling TableTennis sites. Watch this space, no ban will take effect.

Re: Did ITTF just ban Hardbat & all OX pips rubbers ?
No it makes ONLY you MORE foolish if that is evn possible by defending the clown show that is called the ITTF equipment Committee.Troll_poster wrote: ↑January 2nd, 2025, 8:05 pm You do realise this will make you look foolish right?
They (ITTF equipment Committee) look more foolish than you by releasing a half baked document and thprugh;uy confusing their umpires & referees.
As it stands today on January 2025 AM, accoeding to the OFFICIAL ITTF LARC, all OX pips are banned.
So if you claim that this is NOT the cirrect document , please explain to me which LARC document that the ITTF referees & umpires should be using TODAY in an ITTF sanctionsed tournament ? Do you have any suggestions ?
But all OX pips are ALREADY banned as of today according to OFFICIAL ITTF LARC.
Let us assume I am an ITTF umpire. Can you provide me an OFFIVIAL ITTF LARC I can use in an ITTF sanctioned tournament TODAY .
I you can I will shut up.
If not, you should stop contining to make a fool of yourselves, which is unlikely

My friend here is a certified umpire.
Hew would like your advise iwhich lARC he should use at an IFFICIAL ITTF afiliate tournament that he is umpiring today
If a player is using Feint Long 2 OX , should heor she be allowed to use it ? Becaue the latest OFFICIAL version of January 1, 2025 says no OX bersion sof Feint Long 2 exists in ITTF LARC & therefore is not approved & cannot be used
