The following was posted in OOAK Forum but was deleted by a moderator

I have explained this to you many times but you either don’t understand or just ignore what I am saying.
There is no need to block new registrations.
It is very easy to block spam posts in phpBB forums
All you need to do is cerate 2 member groups
One for established members. You can set permissions so that their postings will appear immediately on the forum without getting blocked
You will create a new group for newly registered users. Their permissions can be set so that their post will not show up on the forum until a moderator approves them.
Once you are confident that a new poster is not a spammer, you can move them to the approved posters group.
It is so simple.
It Is not like OOAk forum or MyTAbleTennis.net forums get 1000s of posts a day . You get at most 5 posts a day LOL
You can easily monitor each post before allowing it to show up on the forum.

How could you have explained this many times if this is your first post?
Wow Matt Pimple, you conveniently chose to ignore the helpful advice given to the Forum Admin but nstead choose to viciously attack the poster instead. Real classy moveMatt Pimple wrote: Mittwoch, 19. Februar 2025, 06:55
