What happened to US Open Teams in Detroit
They used to have it during Thanksgiving weekend

They used to claim it was the largest tournament in the world

In Detroit ?
That was 3 centuries ago
They moved to Baltimore more than 30 years ago I think
And then to National Harbor , MD outside DC

There seems to be some sort of confusion about this because I distinctly remember US Open Teams moving from Detroit to Baltimore around 2000.
Richard Lee started this in Baltimore
Looks like this landscape changed & USATT i snow claiming that they have the Offcial US Open Teams and the new first one (LOL) will be held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
