Depends what blade you can use. I'm a backhand chop-blocker close to the table so can't use a very fast blade
Why noy use an asymmetric blade like Hallmark combination ultre or one of many Dr.Neubauer blades or like Yinhe T9 etc

Ot you can have any cutom blade made for you from one of the many blademakers.

Ideal blade would have no composite material on pips side (backhand). The layers will be slowere & high spin
The spinny inverted side (forehand) can be with a compsite material of your choice.'

Thisis one of the big mistakes that the India women's team is making.
They need to learn to have custom asymmetric blades made for them

They are also losing lots of money not sponsoring such blades
Vain amateurs will but any crap if a pro sponsors them though what I am proposing is actually highly functional

How about a blade with an inner layer of carbon or graphite or composites etc ?
Would they have the same effect ?

Inner layer blades are a marketing gimmick especially for backhand block players.
You might as well have a core composite for real two wing loopers who are very few even at pro levels.

You could use an outer layer ZLC or carbon for power forehand looping or wide pips hitting & softer outer composite like ALC for backhand

And they are absolutely useless for (clueless) choppers such as those who think Butterly innershield etc are great. They are garbage
Almost all choppers need asymmtric blades with no composites on pips side used for chopping.
They can have a composte outer lay on the other side . Carbon or ZLC type if you are flat hitter or even chopper (on opposite side other OX chopping pips only). They can use soft ALC type if they loop

I did not realize this is an asymmetric blade

Quoting details from above website below

Dr. Neubauer Matador Texa Carbon...The stiffer and faster alternative

Matador Texa Carbon is the fastest version in the successful MATADOR blade series.

It is made of a layer of Texalium on the backhand and a layer of Carbon on the forehand side.

The outer plies are unchanged and provide a rather stiff ball contact feeling, but with still good control.

Matador Texa Carbon is a faster version of the successful Matador Texa blade with a more direct ball feeling, enabling players to produce an aggressive attacking game with inverted rubbers. Both looping with lots of spin and fast topspin shots can be performed at ease.

The Carbon layer on the forehand side provides maximum power and lots of rotation, while the Texalium fiber material on the backhand gives a bit more control.

Matador Texa Carbon is also a great match with offensive pimple-out and frictionless Anti-Spin rubbers since both a low bounce and high spin reversal can be achieved.

This makes it a very dynamic offensive weapon and a highly effective blade for use with special rubbers in addition.

Class: OFF+

Ply: 7w, 1c, 1f
Blade Thickness: 6.0mm
