Highly technical & extremely controversial topics. Not for the faint of heart

Multi color balls

Post by James Z »

I have been using only bi-color balls now for an year just to test As a strictly exercise player who plays less & less , many opponents snicker when I want to use the this ball but they jus tolerate me because I do not play any matches (more like can’t) . But these are actually DHS 3 star balls & have not broken a single ball yet (almost 1800-2300 rated opponents who loop or flat hit hard) .
I found out that there actually was an ITTF proposition years ago to go to multi color balls but was defeated. This was dumb hypocrisy given that the reason for the two color rule was that players could not read the spin or lack thereof (especially in serves) but when provided a better opportunity to read spin (especially in serves) ,the robotNazis controlled ITTF rejects it. Go figure
