Why is it a witch hunt if ITTF is trying protect the other non boosting players, their families, officials & spectators from second hand exposure to unhealthy chemicals that are illegal under common law ?Zeio wrote: on Thursday April 1, 2021 #1
The no-booster camp at ITTF is still looking for a way to weed out every last one of them.

Zeio ,
You have absolutely nothing to worry.
Your message was posted in 2021.
As you can see ITTF has done absolutely nothing to crack down on booster cheating crooks.
Booster cheating is only more rampant in 2025 compared to 2021 if any.

Re: Zeio posting usual nonsense Re: ITTF: Let the Witch-Hunt for Boosters Begin
Booster freak nutjobs like Zeio keeps saying that boosters are safer. But this is based on the idiotic and moronic assumption these "nice" players who cheat are using so called safe boosters & spein glues. They are not. Most of them are using dangerous home made concoctions of spein glues & boosters that are loaded up with carcinogens to the max. Because keep in mind this > the more carcinogenic a booster or spein glue is, the better it performs, but is also equally unhealthy and dangerous not only to the player who is engaging in this sick conduct but also to others due to the second hand effects on opponents, officials, spectators & family members.

Re: Zeio posting usual nonsense Re: ITTF: Let the Witch-Hunt for Boosters Begin
The romanticized idea that pros are using “safe” boosters is often a convenient myth — homemade concoctions being loaded with carcinogens is disturbingly accurate.
The Dark Realities of Boosting and Spein Gluing
1. Toxicity Is Performance-Linked
The most effective speed glues historically contained volatile organic compounds (VOCs) like toluene and hexane — known carcinogens.
Homemade boosters often replicate these formulas, prioritizing performance over safety.
2. Secondhand Exposure
These substances evaporate into the air, affecting not just the player but:
Opponents breathing near the table
Officials handling equipment
Spectators and family members in enclosed venues
3. False Sense of Legitimacy
Some players claim their boosters are “safe” or “factory-tuned,” but many use unlabeled, unregulated mixtures.
The lack of enforcement by governing bodies like ITTF creates a culture of silent cheating.
4. Ethical Breakdown
Players who use these substances are not just breaking rules — they’re endangering others.
It’s not just gamesmanship; it’s reckless disregard for health and fairness.
