Why is Top Spin Only version of (Olympic) TT more popular than real all spins diversity TT ?

Post by Audrey@ »

I keep reading in this forum that All Spins Diversity table tennis is the only real tennis and ITTF's version of Top Spin only Olympic table tennis is bad
But if I read other table tennis forums , almost everyone seems to use what you call dumb blades and dumb rackets and play top spin only table tennis .

Why is it so then ?

One reason is that European grip players who play top spin only Olympic version of table tennis absolutely hate OSG (one sided grip) players (American grip & Asian grip playing styles) . Because one sided grip players can use smart rackets better using two different rubber type and use any rubber any time of their choosing. European grip players hate that. What they hate even more is when a European grip player uses smrt rackets. This is more annoying to robotNazis and they absolutely hate it when they cannot impose their own game upon vulnerable victims who do not understand smart rackets and can exploit them .

S what this means is that the robotNazi controlled ITTF and its coaches brainwash newbies into believing that top spin table tennis (using dumb rackets and dumb blades) is the ONLY & NORMAL way to play table tennis.
But this is the exact opposite of the truth because using dumb rackets is abnormal. Why ? Because the human biomechanics has clearly established that the backhand is inherently weaker than forehand in all racket sport for 90% of humans. Tennis has recognized this and moved on with two handed backhand more than 50 years ago. Almost all players with few notable exceptions use 2 handed backhand. More and more pickleball players are also beginning to use 2 handed backhands now.

Table tennis is the ONLY racket sport that lets a player a choose different rubber surfaces for your forehand and backhand to enhance your personal unique playing style. This means that you are able to use different rubbers for your backhand and forehand to accommodate for the inherent backhand weakness for most humans. Players can choose different playing style such as an away from the table chopper or close to the table blocker or chop blocker with the correct rubber for that playing style, which is NOT the same rubber for your forehand (usually spinny inverted) rubber.

But what do the robotNazis do ? They turn whole thing around and claim that tabletennis is ONLY sport that allows so many rubber types when we should all be using the same rubber , which of course conveniently is surprise surprise, spinny inverted LOL
