My ethical dilemma > Should I use a one color or two color (smart) racket ?

Post by Lobaddict »

I no longer play in tournaments.
In fact I do not (can not, due to age & health reasons) play even matches in weekly sessions at the local center.
So the ITTF & its bizarre and oppressive rules don't mean much to me

But as an older player all too familiar with the two color rule , I am faced with this dilemma

Should I be using a one color racket or two color racket ?
Why is this a dilemma ?

It is because it is lot of fun to torture robotNazis using one color rackets with their purely imaginary delusions , paranoia and irrational fears of a one color racket.

But on the other hand I wonder if I should really be helping the enemy ( robotNazi ) to learn to play better by reading spins better on the incoming balls and play on its merits rather than obsessing about the color of the rubber.
In fact I am not sure if even any of these robotNazis even watch what color I am striking the ball with . Everytime I twiddle my 2 coor racket and chop their loops on my forehand with my actual long pips even a 2200+ player buries the ball into the bottom of the net on their side (if it even manages to get that far without dropping to the floor on their side). They then have this after the fact nirvana that I chopped with my real long pips on my forehand. Very few players are really watching the color of the rubber the opponent hit the ball with but they just want to use it as a sorry excuse after the fact
So there is no point really. They will blame my smart racket no matter what . It is their evil nature.

Of course the problem is even much worse if I use a one color racket. They are so terrified. But my concern though , is that , should I be really be helping them to read spins better by learning to watch the ball better rather than obsess with the rubber color ? Should I be helping an enemy ( robotNazi ) who kind of thinks you are sub human if you use a smart racket .
I should even be charging them as a chopper for even playin them using a 2 color racket.
Should I be giving them free advanced training using a 1 color racket ? It is like I should be charging them more for this kind of training.

This is an ethical dilemma but in a bizarre and twisted way.

What do you think ?

The two color rule was one of the biggest frauds & over reactions by the ITTF to please the (click link >) robotNazis
It may have made some sense for a few years but it is long overdue that this rule be repealed.

Let us assume a (click link >) robotNazi is training against a fully randomizing robot with multiple spin wheels.
Such as robot can produce random spins at random speeds to multiple point so the receiver's tables.

So what is the (click link >) robotNaziswhine about ? That the robot is not playing fair & the spin wheels must be one black & one red ?

OMG is there an end in sight to the hypocrisy of the (click link >) robotNazis ?

I don't think this is an ethical dilemma but more of the training strategy issue.

Because there is absolutely nothing unethical about using a one color racket especially in the context of rampant illegal cheating by robotNazis who use spein glues and boosters . This is is at epidemic proportions at all levels of the sport & 100% unchecked at lower levels.

I would suggest that you use a one color racket while training against other pips players and use a two color racket while training against robotNazis.
Why ? Because you want to help other pips players to better tune their to learn to read the spins better based on ball behavior & not looking your racket.
But you do not want to extend this courtesy to robotNazis because they will not only whine more than usual & they will also be ungrateful to your trying help them read spins better.

But of course you can charge a fee to (click link >) robotNazis if they want you train them using your one color racket :D

If a player is open minded to be willing to train against a one color racket, they are NOT a robotNazi by definition :)
