Did some rubbers become de-approved in ITTF LARC in October 2025

Post by Von Backo »

I heard some rubbers became de-approved in October
But ITTF no longer releases a LARC every 3 months.
Even if they do, I have no way to tell unless I downloaded previous 3 months (click link >) ITTF LARC
It is so confusing

I feel the same way. Very confusing

I think it probably make lot more sense if ITTF showed a list called DARC (De Approved racket coverings) LOL

It would be helpful to the players who play in ITTF tournaments.

In fact it may even motivate manufacturers to get their rubbers re approved

I agree . It is so confusing

The best things to do is as follows
1. Periodically check the the (click link >) ITTF LARC
2. Before you leave your house on a trip for a tournament , just check the ITTF LARC

This is the best way to protect yourselves.
You can never trust the ITTF to fix the ongoing neverending bureaucratic red tape nonsense

I did not realize the ITTF LARC is no longer officially released every 3 months but updated at random.
If you look at the top of the LARC it says
PERIOD OF VALIDITY: The Date Of Issue Until 31st December Of Current Year.

Previously it used to say the 3 month period only

What you are showing is the current LARC and not from September 29 , 2025
It vanished into thin air
But as you sad unless someone downloaded it and saved it :D
