My method has been been same throughout 2 layers on new rubber 12 hours apart, wait couple of days for the dome to reduce then 2 layers of glue on rubber and 1 layer on blade.

When reboosting remove the glue off rubber and blade, then put 1 layer booster and same glueing process and paste.

My general practice is I boost new rubbers then reboost 3 months later and then after another 3 months I change to new rubber. So each yr I got through 2 sets of rubbers.
Deep74 ,
Please be advised that boosting and spein gluing are common law illegal processes & are also unapproved under Rule 2.4.7 & Regulation 3.4.2.2 of the ITTF statutes

Amazing how emboldened the players are in ITTF's top spin only Olympic table tennis domain.
They know it is wrong but it is like they do not care at all about the secondhand health effects on opponents, officials , spectators or even their own family members including children.
