No it is not
Anti was rejected by away from the table choppers as fast as it arrived within 3 or 4 years in early to mid 1970s
Because long pips quickly became the far superior weapon for away from the table choppers
And this is why ITTF had to quickly step in and ban all long pips at the Birmingham 1977 BGM
Ever since then both anti & slim pips have almost entirely became a tool for at the table block style players.
Though ITTF had been selling the big lie, calling the slim flex pips as long flex pips in its ITTF LARC.
And the manufacturers constantly brainwash clueless newbies into thinking that anti is a viable weapon for at the table choppers
But simple fact remains that even useless slim flex pips have a much better dynamic range are superior to anti even for at the table blockers
So no MAGA will never be a viable concept if you clearly understand the operational mechanics of anti compared to actual non-ITTF long flex pips or even ITTF's slim flex pips

I don't know if there had even been any decent semi - pro away from the table choppers let alone pro choppers in the history of table tennis.
The one i hear that came closest was John Hilton , the surprise 1980 European Champion.
Even him I am not sure because I heard he used anti and slim pips sometimes and others say he used anti inverted and spinny inverted

Never understood why Ayhika Mukherjee and Luka Mladenovic are using Anti
At least Luka is using ABS
I tested Gorilla (used by Ayhika). It is horrible. Almost like a spinny inverted . Sort of like Tenergy (when common law unboosted & in the hands of a low level amateur
)
Unless of course Ayhika is using ABS stamped as Gorilla ( Pros do this al the time to promote a certain brand that they are sponsoring........and clueless players delude themselves into believing that the pros use the same production crap that they (amateurs) use
).
Both Luka & Ayhika are sponsored by Dr Neubauer
And what is up with Ayhika's picture at DR Neubauer sponsored players page
She looks like she is 10 years old
Does Dr Neubauer ever update their webpages OMG
