Should there be 2 or more IOC affiliates for each sport or 2 more national affiliates for ITTF etc

I was looking at the various dramas with ITTF affiliates & IOC affiliates etc

The ITTF replaced one Indonesian TT association with another new one
The drama with TTFI ( Table Tennis Federation of India) never seems to end
In 2019 USOPC replaced the entire board of directors of the USATT
There had been many many similar incidents with IOC and its national sports federation affiliates
So it made me wonder if there should me multiple sports federations for each sport
This may foster healthy competition , which may be good for a give sport

In USA I heard there are two competing pro leagues

I heard MLTT filed a lawsuit against George Braithwaite Major League Table tennis for using the name Major League Table tennis as part f their name or something
