Great job ITTF > You made the 2026 ITTF LARC even more confusing

Highly technical & extremely controversial topics. Not for the faint of heart

Great job ITTF > You made the 2026 ITTF LARC even more confusing

I had saved the ITTF LARC from the beginning of this year and I looked at it today
The total number of rubbers seems to keep changing
If I remember correctly it was 1691 on January 1, 2026 & it is now 1698

So how many rubbers were added ?
You may think it is 7
But not so fast because 11 rubbers could have been added and 4 dropped

I know. You can take a look all the added rubbers column but you have to keep tracking it to calculate if any rubbers were dropped from the ITTF LATC
Earlier they changed the ITTF only every three months not ever 3 days or every 3 weeks LOL

I have not looked into what "Sustainability" column is for but there is no doubt the OX column is meant to further restrict pips players ( Ha Ha tell me something new)
Because given that smooth rubbers (listed as "anti" or "in" on ITTF LARC) cannot be OX , this seems to be a crackdown on pips players LOL
Going forward if you but a pips rubber listed only in sponge versions , you cannot remove the sponge and use it as an OX , even though they would be same as the rubber that would be listed as OX but with approval.
Great move > ITTF makes more money for licensing OX versions but also restricts pips players .........brilliant
