They are still alive since this initial group play is just a fake seeding event
If this had been a regular group event they would have been eliminated (only 2 of 4 teams advance) failing to even reach the final knock-out stage

They played their #4 and #5 players at positions #1 & #2
Kristian Karlsson & Mattias Karlsson (Falck) are their #2 & #3 players
They played Truls at #3 hoping he would win the 1 match they needed to make them the top seed, since they would tie with S Korea but would finish higher based on head to head record since they had beaten S Korea 3-1

It will be interesting to see which players Sweden will use in the final knock out rounds

Ok the topic name many seem a bit extreme since almost top loopers cheat
But China takes it to a much higher level with allegedly traveling mobile booster labs to beat the 4.05 mm limit comfortably
Yes the ITTF increased the maximum allowed rubber thickness limit from 4.00 mm to 4.05 mm in 2024 to protect (some say even promote) booster cheating .
Though rule 2.4.7 and regulation 3.4.2.2 of click link > ITTF statutes contradicts this
