Vanity TT items - Handle overgrip - ideas for manufacturers

Post by Ping My Pong »

I always use a heat shrink overgrip on all my racket handles. See attachments below
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Table-Tennis ... 3948690402

Because I don't like the racket slipping due to sweat etc.
I also find overgrip very comfortable & grippy in my hand in general

But this completely covers the logo of the blade name
Personally I do not care
But given that table tennis players are as vain as teenage rock groupies , I had this idea for manufactures

Why not sell overgrips like in the pictures below but with either a hole around the logo or transparent film so that the logo is clearly visible.

No I do not care umpire needing to know what blade one is using because there is no such thing as ITTF approved blades list except in Japan (JTTA)

But many players love to brag about their $500 rackets.
So when a player buys a blade you can offer this type of overgrip for an additional addon.
The more expensive the blade is, the more expensive would be the overgrip as well LOL

Here is a grip with the general dealer logo (Huieson)

Even without cutting a hole for blade logo to be visible, players would buy it if the blade model is printed on the grip
