Some comments & suggestions about recently completed Alaska TTC Tournament

Anchorage is a major cruise-ship terminating destination. Alaaka is out of the way for most players in mainland USA or even Canada & that is probably you are not getting any players.. So why not run a cruise ending tabletennis tournament scheduled during the end of a cruise. Then I am sure you will get more players not only from USA & Canada & from world over since I hear from many people that Alaska is a favorite cruise destination.
You could even run the National Senior Games Table Tennis or other events since most older players go on more cruises.
In fact you could even apply for World Veterans Championships if you demonstrate ability to run such tournaments & you could get record number of participants
Such a tournaments could also serve as a pioneering model for other cruise-ship terminal cities worldwide to conduct larger tabletennis tournaments
