Highly technical & extremely controversial topics. Not for the faint of heart

Butterfly Short Pips Impartial XS vs XB :- Does this make sense ?

Post by loop hoop »

Take a look at Butterfly Official pages for XS & XB

Butterfly XS

Butterfly XB

Take a look at atttachment at the bottom pulled from above pages

The spong hardness for both is 30 . Does it make sense ?

Both speed & spin for XS are higher than XB
Again does it make sense ? I would expect the Spin version (XS) to have more spin but less speed & Nlock version (XB) to have more speed but less spin . I understand arc for XS being higher than XB

So I would tend to think the sponge hardness value is stated wrong. XB should be higher than XS ??
Unless only the top sheet for XB is harder than XS ??

well I noticed the pip alignment for XB is vertical but for XS it is horizontal but I cannot see this difference causing less speed for XB.
If any I would tend to think XB would be faster ?
Maybe the data sheets got cross switched ?
