The point of the post if I'm readying correctly is that someone who is out of shape has very little skills and uses weird equipment can easily beat an athletic, skilled player. That is a very negative view of the sport IMO.
So your version of skills includes only what now ?
Using illegally boosted doubles inverted racket to top spin.
So using pips or anti block your powerfully fast spinny loops is not a skill in your opinion ?
Which means that there will be a minimal standard of athleticism which will be according to your defintion.
And that does not include people who are overweight or disanled.
So that means that para players must be banned from table tennis and all other sport if they insist on using rubbers that match maximizes their playing skills just like you using boosted inverted. Even though boosting is unapproved by by ITTF rule 2.4.7 & also illegal under common law as defined by not me but by the ITTF

How many other sports do you know that a player who is less skilled and worse physical shape can beat someone by simply using equipment?
Every three months or so some robotNazi clown comes on some table tennis forum assuming that asking the above question makes him or her has made a breakthrough invention anot what is wrong with table tennis .

I have seen this nonsense argument 100s if not 1000s of times from hardcore robotNazis though this bizarre claim was initiated by the RetroLunatics .

All this clowns ask this question based on fundamentally flawed premise about sponge era tabletennis which assumes
1. All humans must be using double inverted rackest because topspin looping is the only proer way to play table tennis.
2. The loopers can use the rubber that maximizes their playing potential (looping) but choppers & blockers sholud not use rubbers to maximize their potential.

So I can turn around Gtsnake 's oh so clever question and ask

So in other words which other sport that you know of , allows a player to choose their equipmnet to maximize their own skill & style which can be different on the forehand from backhand & usually is for 90% players especially amateurs but they do not even know it.
