Why did ITTF came to disfavour the older version of long pimples? lt was found by the year 1999 that the long/slim pimples did become overly flexible and deceptive, the very undesired factor to bring randomness too much in the game.

Here he posts attached pictures claiming that Feint Long (Classic version) Juic Leggy etc creating an illusion that these are teh evil rubbers for ITTF passing the 1998 Durban AR(Asspect Ratio) Reduction Massacre of 1998.
FYI this change has nothing to do with anyof these rubbers.
In fact it also had very little to do with the rubber TSP Curl P1, though ITTF blamed Curl P1 as the primary reason.
The reason for this regulation had nothing to do whatsoever with technical merits . It was 100% political
