I was reading with interest the topic below

I would like to add add some sub classificationss

A dumber racket woull be a racket using a symmetric blade with different rubbers of same type such as spinny inverted rubbers or wide pips rubbers on either side.
The dumbest racket would be a racket using a symmetric blade and also identical rubbers on both sides.

Most players simply have no clue as to how big a garbage symmetric blades are, expecially in the 40+ plastic ball only era
Worse, supposedly the best manufactureres like Butterfly or Syiga seem to have a clue.
Imagine making a symmetric blade for real long pips or ITTF skim pips.........OMG ......how pathetic can you get.

Yet all you read in ITTF brainwashed forums is how great Buttefly blades like Joo Sae Hyuk or Victas blades like Matsushita are

Easy to remember

Dumb Racket = Can produce strong forehand top Spin but weak backhand top spin at best for even maybe 50% pros & almost all amateurs
Smart Racket = Can produce both powerful forehand top Spin and powerful backhand back Spin as well as forehand back spin with twiddling

Dumb racket = Very poor dynamic range of useful strokes for amateurs and limted to top spin & worst spin contrast between back khand and forehand
Smart racket = Highest dyanmic range of powerful strokes on both forehand & backhand & best spin contrast between back khand and forehand

What ITTF wants > Only Top Spin
Wha ITTF does NOt want > Back Spin

Anti was introduced in early 1970s . Long pips were introduced to the sport in mid 1970s

Long pips were banned 1983 aand confirmed in 1998

So ever since then (for about 50 years now) robotNazis have been name calling smart racket users as "junk rubber" players & claining themselves (robotNazis) a "normal" players.

But there is nothing "normal" abot dumb rackets.
If anything the dumb racket users are the abnormal players in table tennis.

I know it makes you robotNazis very angry that the horrible truth about dumb rackets & the more brutal abuse of smart racket players is finally getting exposed to the world.

So the robotNazis will have to used to for the next 50 years as dumb rackest will be eventually (and thankfully) be phased out of the sport when the death grip control of the ITTF by the robotNazis will end & sanity , decency & diversity will be brought to make table tennis a fair & decent sport
