My name is Mike and I am an 82 year old amateur club player using long pips BH.
Over the last few years I have tried many different long pips. My BH play is mainly serve return and control blocks.
My past favorite was Tabhar Mythik but no longer made.
I am seeking information on long pips without going thru every place that sells them.

What brand/name has the longest legal pips and what brand/name is the most flexible?

There is no such thing as legal & illegal pips.
Only ITTF approved & unapproved & de-approved pips
The word "legal" and "illegal" cannot be used for pips.
The only (common law) illegal rubbers are boosted & spein glued rubbers

You can use any pips in non-ITTF all spins diversity table tennis.
They have more and more non-ITTF tournaments in many countries like China, USA, South Korea , Indonesia etc

Presence of ITTF logo on rubber sheet will vouch legitimacy of the product.

How ? All ITTF de-approved rubbers would also have ITTF logo

All pips rubbers are legitimate. Some are ITTF pips. Others are non-ITTF pips. There are no common laws preventing their use
Only rubbers that are illegitimate are boosted and spein glued rubbers that common law illegal & also even unapproved by rule 2.4.7 & regulation 3.4.2.2 of ITTF statutes

The best ITTF approved slim pips with maximum approved length and most flexible is Tibhar Grass Dtec
But keep in mind that Grass Dtec is absolutely useless in the 40+ plastic ball only era

The best actual long pips currently available for at the table blockers is Reach C-801
You can also use Magic 77 though it is more for away from the table choppers
Both are available on Ali Express

The best to chop for away from the table choppers is Reach C-8.

Magic 77 is more like an all round LP.

Reach C-801 have dampening but are the most difficult to control so the most dangerous to plau closes to the table.
