Can you get a decent spinny loop with a TSP balsa 4.5?
Generally thicker balsa blades are awful for looping!
Maybe the thinner ones flex a little for looping?

I know two local league players who can loop very well on both wings using a 1cm+ thick balsa blade with rubbers like Mark V and Joola Green Energy.
Don't overthink it..
But not underthink it either
VVK1 , you need to learn to read the question first & understand it

MOG is talking about a TSP BALSA 4.5 which is a Glass Fiber blade.
Glass fiber blades are more of hitting blades than looping blades
MOG misunderstood the blade & asked the wrong question
You VVK1 misunderstood the question & gave a right answer to the wrong question because you went off on a tangent to just the balsaness of a blade. Does yor friends' blades have glass fiber or carbon (on outer layer) ?
