However, at this stage in my career I'm coaching as much or more than competing, so when I am working with my students, I can slowly adapt to the new rubber, I do not train students playing long pips, I have a double inverted paddle for that.
I hope you are not brainwashed by ITTF and engaging in Coaching malpractice.

Because when you say " I have a double inverted paddle for that".
I know you did NOT say , I start my students themselves with double inverted , but still that raises serious red flags for me.
Bbecause I suspect that you are then starting your stidents also using dumb rackets
That would be a huge mistake & coaching malpractice

I was also brainwashed by the ITTF as a coach that new players especially children should only start in the sport using dumb rackets .
I only recently learned what a big mistake it was.
Because I was brainwashed by the robotNazi controlled ITTF mot once but twice
First 10 years as a player. Evety coach Ihad told me I should only use Dumb rackets & it is not normal to want to use smart rackkets
Then for next 30 years as a coach *& administartor) I was still under the spell of the ITTF and continue to believe that all new players must start in the sport using dumb rackest. (Though I myself switched to a smart rackets after my first ITTF brainwashing)

It is a huge mistake to start children with them using dumb rackets. They should start first using smart rackest & switch to dumb racket only if they can show that they are the select humans who are capable of using dumb rackets.
But ITTF wants 90% of players use dumb rackets thought the probability of a human being able to use a dumb racket is only 19% or 20% at best fo amateurs & new potential pros.
You can read more on this in the tpoic below

It is also all the more equally importnt that you do NOT start older adults (over age 40) or para players using dumb rackets

Many of these older players who neevr learned to loop in their youth or can no longer loop or cannot loop due to some phsicial or health limitations should not be using double inverted dumb rackest or even double inverted waid pips dumb rackets
These players must ONLY use OX blocking type long pips on one side (backhand for almots all humans) & wide pips with sponge on forehand.
In some case some may be able to use anti spin on forehand (but defintely not backhand)
In any case MOBODY should use wide pips & anti on backhand.

There may be some cases with these players who can have exceptioally spinny serves using spinny inverted rubbers.
In that case they could use spinny inverted on one side even if they cannot loop
